     The Reagan Theatre Department will attend the 2011 Texas Thespians Convention from December 1^st to December 4^th, 2011. We will depart from the school on Thursday morning, December 1^st. As of November 11^th there will be a $20 increase in each student contribution due to the 50% increase of registration price from last year. The incoming money will be used to pay for gas and remaining expenses that the department has already covered. We thank you for your cooperation.      All Reagan seniors interested in auditioning for Greater San Antonio on Monday, November 21 at Reagan High School must fill out and turn in the audition form by November 1. Late applications will not be accepted.

     Selling ads for our show playbill is the primary way that that the Reagan Theatre Department is able to fund our program. Students are encouraged to sell ads to all local businesses. For information on how to sell ads, visit the Green Room (FA 103). If you need any additional ad sales forms, you can now print out copies from the file below. The deadline for all ad sales is September 23. Please turn in all ad sales and checks to Mrs. Robinson in the Green Room.

     The results for Much Ado About Nothing and Medea are in! The first rehearsal for Much Ado About Nothing is August 29th from 4:05pm to 6:00.pm in the auditorium. We will go over general production guidelines and measure for costumes. For more information, visit GRob's webpage.

     Auditions for Much Ado About Nothing and Medea will take place on August 25-26 (Thursday and Friday) from 4:15PM to approximately 7:00PM each day. You will need to fill out audition forms, available in the Green Room (FA103), and sign up for times on the sheet in the theatre hallway. Make sure to sign up for the earliest time slot available. You can audition with a partner(s) using a scene from the play or alone using a monologue.

     In order to find a scene or monologue to use, you may check out play scripts from the theatre library in the Black Box. You must sign out these scripts in the library notebook so that we can keep track of them.

     Students interested in working backstage or on one of the other production crews must fill out a crew application form. Students auditioning for roles in the cast are encouraged to fill out these forms as well.

Results will be posted on G Rob's teacher webpage as well as on this site.
